Cruise Itinerary
Arrival in Lan Ha Bay & Tra Bau Kayaking At Sea
Morning pickup from Hanoi's Old Quarter (if transfer booked) for a scenic drive to Tuan Chau Port. Upon arrival, complete check-in procedures at Lounge 34 before transferring by tender to the Mon Cheri Cruise. A warm welcome with a cool drink and safety briefing awaits. Lunch is served as the cruise begins its journey into the stunning Lan Ha Bay.
In the afternoon, the vessel reaches Tra Bau, a secluded area known for its pristine beauty. Guests will embark on a kayaking adventure for approximately one hour, paddling amidst limestone karsts and emerald waters. Upon returning to the cruise, a Vietnamese cooking class is held on the sundeck (typically 17:30 - 18:30). Alternatively, enjoy 'Happy Hour' at the bar with a 'Buy 1, Get 1 Free' drink offer.
The evening concludes with a romantic set menu dinner featuring local specialties. Guests can relax with drinks, enjoy karaoke, or try their hand at squid fishing under the night sky. Overnight stay on Mon Cheri Cruise.
Cycling in Viet Hai Village At Sea
Start the day with an invigorating Tai Chi class on the sundeck or enjoy a round of mini-golf as the sun rises. Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Today's highlight is an excursion to Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. Guests can choose to cycle through the scenic route, enjoying views of coastal mountains and tropical greenery, or opt for a leisurely trip on an electric cart. This provides a unique opportunity to experience local life and the island's natural charm.
Return to the cruise for lunch. The afternoon offers more time to relax on board, perhaps enjoying the sundeck or participating in other onboard activities. In the evening, another delightful dinner is served, followed by opportunities for relaxation or squid fishing.
Trung Trang Cave Exploration & Farewell
Begin the final day with an early morning Tai Chi session or mini-golf. Enjoy breakfast in the restaurant. The morning includes a visit to Trung Trang Cave within the Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve, where guests can explore its impressive stalactites and learn about its mysterious ecosystem.
After returning to the boat, guests will pack their luggage and check out. A final brunch is served in the restaurant, offering scenic views of Halong Bay. Between 10:30 and 11:00, guests will transfer back to Tuan Chau Port. For those with pre-arranged transfers, a shuttle will transport them back to Hanoi, arriving around 15:00.

Meals are served at set times: breakfast (6:45 - 7:15), lunch (13:00), and dinner (19:30). Depending on guest numbers (below 30), meals are served as set menus; otherwise, buffets are offered. The cruise caters to diverse dietary needs, providing vegetarian, Indian, kosher, and special kids' menus upon request, with private BBQ dinners also possible. Notably, Mon Cheri is the only Halong Bay cruise with a Halal certificate, offering a dedicated Halal menu without surcharge. Complimentary mineral water (two bottles per day) is provided. Other beverages, including alcohol, soft drinks, cocktails, wines, and fresh juices, are available for purchase from the bar menu. - Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
