- Should Halong Bay Management Board announce cancellation due to adverse weather:
- Before departure from Hanoi (no services used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services used, e.g., transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong): Used services will be charged, remaining balance refunded.
- If a 2-night trip is shortened to 1 night: Guests will be charged for a 2-day/1-night trip plus other used services, remaining balance refunded.
From Hanoi: A shuttle bus service can collect guests from their hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter between 08:00 and 08:30. This transfer is an additional cost and must be booked separately. Alternatively, guests arranging their own transport must arrive at the pier by 12:00 for check-in.
From Tuan Chau Port: All guests will depart from Tuan Chau wharf at 12:00. Upon boarding, a welcome drink will be served, followed by an itinerary briefing and safety instructions from the guide.
