The Red Dragon Junk provides a distinctive cruise experience, drawing inspiration from the classic wooden junks that once graced Bai Tu Long Bay. Launched in 2025, this modern steel vessel, though small with only eight elegantly appointed cabins, maintains a traditional aesthetic with its iconic batwing sail design. It specializes in routes through the less-traveled areas of Bai Tu Long Bay, ensuring a tranquil and private exploration away from typical tourist paths.
Guests aboard the Red Dragon Junk can anticipate an atmosphere of comfort and intimacy. The ship’s design prioritizes a refined onboard experience, offering a serene environment for relaxation and appreciation of the bay's natural splendor. This boutique approach allows for a more personal connection with the untouched landscapes and the rich Vietnamese heritage of the region.
Accommodation options include Deluxe Cabins and Deluxe Balcony Cabins, each thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort. Deluxe Cabins, located on the main deck, offer 26.5 m² of space with a choice of king or twin beds, a private loggia, and a sea-view bathtub. For those desiring outdoor space, the 27 m² Deluxe Balcony Cabins on the upper deck feature king-size beds, private balconies with sun loungers, and open-air bathtubs for an elevated viewing experience.
Dining on the Red Dragon Junk is a culinary journey, with all meals prepared and served onboard. Guests enjoy fresh, locally inspired cuisine, including a seafood-rich lunch, a delightful dinner in a romantic setting, and breakfast and brunch on departure day. The dining areas are designed to offer scenic views, enhancing every meal.
Beyond the comfortable cabins and exquisite dining, the cruise provides a range of facilities and activities designed for rejuvenation and engagement. The ship boasts a wellness corner complete with a spa, sauna, herbal bath, fitness room, and a mineral seawater pool. Daily activities may include kayaking, cooking classes, Tai Chi sessions, swimming in the bay’s clear waters, and evening squid fishing, ensuring a balanced blend of adventure and relaxation.
