Following a delightful lunch served onboard, take the opportunity to meet the friendly crew and enjoy some local entertainment on deck. The ship then continues its gentle navigation towards the expansive Mekong Delta. As dusk settles, the vessel will anchor for the night on the peaceful Vam Co River, providing a captivating backdrop for your first evening.

Wake to the gentle sounds of the river as the ship begins its morning voyage through the historic Cho Gao Canal. This vital waterway, originally constructed by the French in 1876, serves as a crucial link for transporting goods across the region, offering an authentic glimpse into the daily life and commerce along the riverbanks.

Upon reaching Ben Tre, disembark for an excursion into this fertile region. Transfer to traditional sampans for a scenic ride through dense mangroves and bamboo groves, leading to the area's abundant fruit orchards. The Mekong Delta is renowned as Vietnam's rice bowl, contributing significantly to the nation's agricultural output. Start your day with an excursion near Chau Doc. A short drive takes you to the foot of Sam Mountain, where you can ascend 400 steps to Phuoc Dien Tu, also known as Hang Pagoda. For those preferring a less strenuous activity, an exploration of the local market provides a vibrant alternative.

Next, venture by sampan to visit nearby floating fish farms, gaining insight into this unique aquaculture practice. Please note: During high water periods in October and November, low bridges may impede navigation into Chau Doc. In such cases, today's excursion will be replaced with a visit to a local village in Long Thuan.
