Should the Halong Bay Management Board announce a cancellation due to adverse weather, the following policies apply:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (no services used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services used, e.g., transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong): Used services will be charged, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
- If a 2-night trip is shortened to 1 night: Guests will be charged for a 2-day/1-night trip plus any other used services, with the remainder refunded.
The final cost for weather-related cancellations will be confirmed by your consultant via email. For urgent assistance, please contact us directly.
- Children under 5 years old: Free of charge when sharing existing bedding and services with parents (maximum 1 child per cabin). A second child will incur a 50% adult rate.
- Children from 5 to under 11 years old: Charged 75% of the adult rate when staying with parents, including an extra bed. This policy does not apply to Family rooms.
- Children 11 years old and above: Charged the full adult rate.
The cruise provides a luxurious limousine pick-up service from Hanoi Old Quarter. These vehicles are equipped with air conditioning, leather seating, and charging cables for passenger comfort.
Guests will be gathered by staff between 8:00 and 8:30 AM before proceeding to Cat Ba Island. Arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port is expected around 11:30 AM for check-in procedures, followed by a transfer to the main Orchid Premium Cruise vessel.
Travelers arriving directly at Halong Bay (e.g., from Hanoi by private arrangement) should complete check-in and transfer to the Orchid Premium Cruise before 12:00 PM. Guests are advised to arrive at Tuan Chau Port in advance to ensure a smooth boarding process.
