The journey begins in Hanoi with an evening transfer from your hotel to the railway station. Board the SP3 night train, departing at 21:50 PM, for an overnight trip to Lao Cai. You'll settle into a shared cabin, preparing for the adventure ahead in Vietnam's northern highlands.
Upon arrival at Lao Cai Train Station around 6:00 AM, your guide will greet you. A scenic two-hour drive then takes you to Can Cau Market. This vibrant market, nestled in a mountain valley just seven kilometers from the Chinese border, offers a fascinating glimpse into the distinct cultural practices of remote Vietnamese minority groups. Observe the lively interactions and the colorful traditional attire worn by the local boys and girls.
