Pandaw Mekong Cruise Upstream 8 days: Saigon - Siem Reap

The journey commences in central Saigon, where guests will board their Pandaw vessel. After settling into their cabins, the ship will begin its upstream voyage, offering views of the city's expanding skyline. Lunch will be served onboard as the vessel navigates through picturesque waterways, passing lush mangroves and dense bamboo groves that characterize the region's natural beauty. In the afternoon, passengers will have the opportunity to meet the crew and enjoy local entertainment, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. As evening approaches, the ship will anchor overnight on the tranquil Vam Co River, providing a peaceful environment for the first night.

The morning begins with a scenic cruise through the historic Cho Gao Canal, a significant waterway constructed during the French colonial era in 1876. This passage offers a unique perspective on daily life along the riverbanks. Following this, the ship will reach Ben Tre, a region renowned for its fertile landscapes. Here, guests will transfer to a sampan for an intimate journey through winding mangroves and bamboo forests, leading to vibrant fruit orchards. Today is dedicated to exploring the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. The morning begins with a cyclo tour, allowing guests to admire the intricate architecture of the Royal Palace and the shimmering Silver Pagoda. Following this, a visit to the National Museum provides an opportunity to delve into Cambodia's rich history, housing an impressive collection of Angkorian statues. In the afternoon, the itinerary shifts to a more somber reflection on the country's past with visits to the Killing Fields and the Genocide Museum, offering profound insights into the Khmer Rouge era. The ship will dock overnight in Phnom Penh, giving guests the freedom to experience the city's vibrant evening atmosphere, including its array of bars, restaurants, and nightlife, before returning to the comfort of the cruise.

Departing from Phnom Penh, the ship embarks on a picturesque upstream journey along the winding channels of the Tonle Sap River, heading towards Kampong Tralach.
