Hanoi - Tuan Chau Port - Lan Ha Bay - Tra Bau At Sea
Morning pick-up from Hanoi (optional, additional fee) at your hotel in the Old Quarter or a designated meeting point (8:00 - 8:30). Arrive at Lot 34, Tuan Chau International Port (11:30 - 12:00), where the Peony Cruise crew will welcome you. After a tender transfer to the cruise, receive safety guidelines and check in. As the cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay, a delicious lunch is served in the onboard restaurant.
In the afternoon, discover the Tra Bau area. Enjoy kayaking to explore unique cave formations and admire the natural beauty of the area, including glimpses of a floating village (approx. 1.5 hours). Return to the cruise to witness the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. Participate in a cooking class to learn traditional Vietnamese dishes with the master chef, followed by 'Happy Hour' with savory cocktails. The evening concludes with a romantic dinner in the restaurant.
Night activities include enjoying the nightlife from the top deck, drinks at the bar, and squid fishing. Overnight on Peony Cruise.
Viet Hai Village & Lan Ha Bay Swimming At Sea
Start your morning with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck as you watch the sunrise over the bay. A light breakfast with tea, coffee, pastries, and traditional pho or bun ca is served at the restaurant (mealtime may vary).
Today, you will have the opportunity to visit Viet Hai Village, a tranquil fishing village. Explore the area by cycling through scenic routes, or opt for an electric cart. You can also experience a unique fish foot massage at a local house. After the village visit, dive into the refreshing waters of Lan Ha Bay for a swim at a hidden beach, enjoying the pristine environment.
Return to the main cruise for lunch, followed by leisure time onboard. Dinner is served in the evening, with options for further relaxation or squid fishing.
Trung Trang Cave & Departure
Greet the final morning with another Tai Chi session on the deck, followed by breakfast. Today's highlight is an exploration of Trung Trang Cave, one of the largest caves in the Cat Ba Archipelago, offering insights into its unique geological structure and tropical greenery.
Around 9:30, check out from your cabin and enjoy a light lunch at the restaurant while the cruise returns to port. Settle any incidental fees at the reception desk. Guests will disembark at Tuan Chau International Port between 10:30 - 11:00.
An optional shuttle bus will pick you up for the return journey to Hanoi Old Quarter, arriving approximately at 15:00.
